| I completed my quest w/Borman and was told to see Sviblov. He has nothing to say, because I can't find a previous quest to find the missing courier in Radar or backtrack from the Brain Scorcher. Has anyone found the missing courier? Thanks in advance. | |

The Brain Scorcher is in Laboratory X-10 in Radar. You should have already been there to turn it off before heading to the Wishgranter. Sviblov's courier is at the end of the railway tunnel, close to the X-10 entrance. | |

And, I don't have a clue about the subject matter between MO and Forester, above. I've gone to where the Hunters received their stolen goods back from me earlier in the game, no dialog there. Â I've gone to the deep woods tank to look for a hidden transition. Â I've spoken with Max, Fang, Maples, Swamp Doc (why? lol). Â I'm missing something that allows the game to continue. Â Help! | |

| This part of the storyline begins after having talked to Pilgrim in the Old Village. 1. From the SMS messages the player has received from Fang and Ghost we know that we must meet Ghost at CHAES-1. The location we are told to meet Ghost at is where the transition from CHAES-2 (back of the nuclear power plant) to CHAES-1 (front of the nuclear power plant) spawns you at in CHAES-1.
I finished with Pilgrim but Ghost is not at the north or south transition in either direction.
I have not finished the Heart of the Poltergeist because after two days of looking around inside, outside, above and under the sarcophagus there is no place to drop the monitoring unit from Sakharov that works. (Simply install a standard monitoring unit as close as possible to sarcophagus. Ideally somewhere safe and under cover.) Reference: New task received... Install the device. Item received: Monitoring unit x1. I finished Sid and Barman, Sakharov has no idea where he wants this thing installed. (Would be appropriate to have a gray area appear or some other indicator at or near the required location to make this possible. Or at least better dialogue that makes Sakhi look like he has the slightest idea where he wants this thing installed.) | |

- Ghost:
After you talk to Pilgrim and have the lengthy SMS conversation, Ghost should be waiting for you at the extreme western end of Chernobyl South (NPP1), close to the gates/transition leading to NPP2.
- Sak's device:
When you enter the Sarcophagus building from the outside, there is a railway carriage facing you. Drop the device between the rails close the end of the carriage.

| NO camera body. Â I thought I'd scoured the room for all lootables after searching it 4 times, but shall try going back the Prypiat and looking again. Â All I found so far are two "bombs". Â Thanks!
Edit: All that's in the room unlocked by Korn are two bomb bodies. Looking for the camera body info portion now. | |

Edit: Â All that's in the room unlocked by Korn are two bomb bodies. Â Looking for the camera body info portion now. Unfortunately Fang has a bad habit of looting everyone and everything in that room. If he reaches the unlocked room before you, he will probably pick up the camera and its instructions. If he does, they don't appear in his inventory, so I don't think there is any way to get them back other than a reload or the spawn menu. The camera body is - Spoiler:

| I went to the War lab and got a SMS that Panther is Missing. I went through the transition to the Hospital, but could not scale the cliff to advance, so I teleport to the Hospital but no ones around and I can only return back to the Limansk. Is the hospital an empty area and am I to look for Panther elsewhere? If so, where. | |

You don't go to the Hospital until later. After receiving Pilgrim's message, talk to Maples for a task to find something that he needs. When you have done that, return to Old Village and talk to Pilgrim. | |

| TT 33 pistol causing CTD.
I collected a TT 33 in Dead City during the gather supplies mission. I can equip it, but if I select it the game immediately crashes without creating any log, every time. Just FYI, I'm now using other firearms instead of the TT 33. | |

| Recon Secret cave: 19. When we reach the cave the teleport is disabled. We climb into the cave and find the Fly (the girl). Talk to her. A helicopter flies over the cave. Leave the cave and approach Fang. The helicopter lands and Panther and another npc exit the helicopter. Talk to Panther. Then talk to Fang.
I am stuck bad right here. The helicopter never comes. Waiting on a rock with fang for a couple weeks real time now. I have backed up several saves one at a time replaying this over and over and it still gets stuck when I get here. Any way to fix this? An info portion to make the chopper come maybe? I don't hear it. I looked all over the map to see if it is stuck on a tree or the edge of the map. | |

| I have the things collected to cook the heart but there is a guy blocking the door in the hospital who says come back when I have an invitation. I am not sure how to get an invite but I suspect I am not ready to do it until I go see Klenow on the way to get the doll for Fly after this helicopter shows up? | |

Are you trying to cook the - Spoiler:
Living Heart? When you have spoken to the three traders and learned the components, return to Doc and he will tell you how to cook it.
When you return Fly's doll, she will give you some information that leads to the next part of the story. You don't return to the hospital until later, after some important events happen. You will be prompted when the time comes.

| Hi guys, I could use some help here, please. I recently started playing again after my disc failure, and am on a fresh install of 1.10017 with a save kindly supplied by kd6dm, which has enabled me to continue with my mission with Maples However, as everyone plays the game differently, I'm encountering issues with some unfinished jobs in this save that I'd previously completed without problems, but may interfere with my game in this playthrough The first is getting the Soul Cube. I had the instruction to find it in the top apartment in Pripyat. I got there, picked up everything in the room, including Pavel's diary, but there was no SMS to sell the Cube. I thought this might be because the task was modified by TB, but now I'm unable to continue this part of the storyline. I've been to several other maps, and there's no further dialogue from Shadows. Is it a bug, have I missed something, or do I need an infoportion? Next is the Fang sequence, which I know is essential to complete the game. Fang and Pilgrim are still in Rostok. I have the instruction to find his documents from the hunters in the Red Forest. I talk to the hunters and they tell me where the thief is, at the cemetery which IIRC is in the Swamps. However, the thief and the group who've caught him are not there, and I don't know how to progress to further my relationship with Fang I'm pretty certain the Warlab mission has been completed, because I can talk to Maples One last thing, is that with this new game I can't see the ID of anyone I'm looking at without opening a dialogue with them. Linked with this is that my targeting reticle (dot) no longer turns red when it's pointed at an enemy. This is useful as I use it for targeting in the dark Otherwise, the game is still great and getting better with every new patch. I love the fresh new colors and graphics :-) Oh, and what was the rule about stashing too many items in one place? Is it no more than 1000 items in one area, or per stash bag in one area? | |

I just installed the dbv1 file, plus the second file for the improved text, then sent "cube for sale" to the network. I can't remember if I got the full SMS dialogue, but the NPCs spawned at the launderette and I was able to talk to them and continue the mission. I just tested Fang's mission by going to the swamp but not talking to Cold. I used klyak_forest_doc_marsh and the thief and his guards spawned. I was then able to talk to them and get the backpack. | mini-patch 0017.1 is now posted and all should run the updater, back up your modders script if you have made changes and migrate them to the new modders script. old saves will still work but a small number of users that started between 0016 and 0016.2 may see some issues like the normal pdas that should not be in your inventory. You can drop them and then pick them up and they will be properly registered and removed from the game.

| I try to verify and test the whole patch before release but it is a difficult task. There are already 3 files with newly introduced bugs in them like the holod dialogs, most effect the collector playthrough but in a few game starts from 110016 to 110016.9 have bad items in inventories which the player can fix by dropping them and picking them back up (regular pdas and some notes).
