Is there any news about the success of running the game ? I had the same problem a month ago, when I re-install Win 10 Pro. I didn't find a solution, so yesterday I went back to Win 7 Ultimate, and SS works great for now, I am in Bar - Rostok map. EDIT : I would also take this opportunity to thank publicly to TrueB and Arthoryum for help in PM, regarding the problem of running a game on Win 10. | |

stalkersoup works fine on windows 10 if you don't use the default installed location (this is probably why it didn't work for you), so either put it in C:\STALKERSOUP or install it to a second hardrive or Partition and it will work. same deal with other games as well, because of all the protection stuff that windows 10 has its best to avoid the default install path for any game. here is a screen for proof [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]had to set the game to window mode temporary just for the screenshot, it works fine in full screen mode as well. | |

I played SS for 2 years at Win 10 and and during reinstallation I didn't have something well installed on my computer, something that had nothing to do with installing SS and that made the problem when I wanted to start the game. | |

| Finally 110019.1 patch is about to be released. There are some major improvements as well as fixes to the scripts and a major amount of work from the dialog improvement team, THANKS to all of them. I have made the shader system a class under the player binder which improved the speed and also made it more stable. In DX11 you now have progressive wet surfaces which really adds to the emersion and sets up the use of wet visors and weapon reticles for the next major patch. I have added more to the collector in both storm and reclamation but the final ending has a bit more to be added before it is done, 110020 will have the final ending done. Before you get the 110019.1 update I suggest you back up both your modders script and user.ltx as the use of wet surfaces will change the user.ltx constantly. If you have settings that you like in the user.ltx that you want to keep then those settings can be put in the modders script in the DX11 and DX11 extended sections, I will create a section on these settings as well as using the DDOF settings in the advanced options menu in game. When 110020 comes out I will also discuss the advanced shader settings files and how they can be customized. I would welcome a shader programmer that is interested in helping advance the shaders to take advantage of the soft water, dust particles and wet visor services as I am still swamped with work. | |

| there will be more but it will be in DLCs at that point. My DLCs will continue on with my storyline and there is one other DLC that I believe will be ready by tzoun. The patches after 110020 will be for any bugs that might still exist, new features and the addition of coop and multiplayer. I also want to get the rest of the shader features done along with the completion of the 64bit engine.

| I cannot talk to Sakharov. I got Kruglov to Yantar and he is in the lab. Greeted me with "[Marked One in person here huzza ...]" and told me to talk to Sak. But I cannot not even when I climb into his office. When I kill Kruglov Sak goes "Is he dead? Come back and talk to me" But again it will not let me talk to him. If I kill Sak he has lots of stuff but no psi helmet. Ah nevermind. Apparently that damn professor just refuses to talk while you are pointing a weapon at him. >_< Next up: Taking measurements with Kruglov I guess. \o/ | |

Hi TB, With depth of field, is it possible that close up ie within normal eyesight remain clear and blur only applies to background, please? When you proceed with Ls4 to 10, before DLC will any changes occur to the Ls 0-3 in eg side missions Ls 1 to 3, please and do you have in mind bringing back any of the main NPCs from L0 please? The number of each grenade type that you can carry is set in the Inventory Control section of the 'Modders Script' (\gamedata\scripts\tb3d_modders.script). Any additional grenades are dropped. Thanks for the info. The f1 is the only one i use so i uped it to to 20. I am definitely a hoarder though Does this also apply to container stashes or just player inventory. | |

| Hi TD3OO5, Generally just what you take. If it was reality MO wuld need a handcart, for the loadout is very generous. There are benefits in stashes in the early parts of the game, but in my experience it is better not to put a lot of stashes in one area, ie better to spread them about. Eg varied in Cordon, the Dump, etc, though my MO keeps firearms at Sids, outfits at Agroprom etc. This lessens the impact per area. If you buy a stashbag, and get a lock from Akim: if you reach your capacity for goods carried, you can place the stashbag where you are with the lock and preferably a gps, inside and carry on, as the gps will show its location on the map.
