Did you pick up the note at the top of the tower first? Doing that is supposed to open the bunker door. If you did pick it up, try reloading an earlier save and pick it up again. i did reload game autosave. and first take tower note then go mobile lab. door is open. last take zep. thanks pchester

Hi kaplumbaga, you can pay Sidorovich 250,000 to get freedom friends again. Or in TB3D Modders.Script, make a copy of it elsewhere - imo helps, then put to "true" the option to see the modders keys, back in the Game, go to where hostile Freedom soldiers are, and without getting shot press Esc and the key for changing attitude, and this should work, or last resort go to a previous Save, and avoid bandits or try modders button on the bandits too. Though doesn't work if you are pointing a gun at them! If it doesn't work, you have your original modders.script to replace the changed one. | Is there's supposed to be a teleporter in the road closer to the dump transition? Is it is, there's any way to deactivate in game? It's a bit of a buzz to get teleported when i'm running 4 maps (Still don't have a lot of transitions in my game)

| No, i was saying i was going from agropom to Yantar. Nothing wrong with this, it's just there's a teleport in the road close to dump transition and i wanted to know if it was normal to the game and if there's a way to deactivate the teleport. (The teleport just put me back close to the woods in agropom.) | |

There are a few of these annoying teleports that appear in Agroprom at different times. I don't think they can be deactivated, you just have to learn where they are from experience and then avoid them.

FYI, teleports like this are anomalous, and come and go like other anomalies Though they don't show up on Anomaly Detectors, the dual-function Mine Detector should warn you of them...

Mine detectors, who would have guessed, that's a brilliant tip, Sword. I often forget entering but if players keep high in the wooded section coming and going, to the right leaving and left entering right up by the wire and then sidle down by the gate to leave it is avoided. - Spoiler:
on entering for the first time and going to help Mole, if you head up to the tunnel and run along the track you miss the cut scene which takes you on a flying trip over a skirmish between army and stalkers. When getting to the action, imo, it works better for MO to go straight forward to bump off about 3 soldiers, run round to the left and come up behind the soldiers. Nb: please don't alter this. One thing about the flyover is that whilst it's happening, so is the action. If the action poised then MO could save more stalkers.

| I love stalkersoup as well, it maybe has a few stability problems currently, but it has the most balanced difficulty to enemy ratio of all the stalker mods I played.
I would however like to see more maps added though like the ones from Lost Alpha for example, also the map from Valley of Whispers is a Great huge map as well, like twice the size of Jupitor / zaton / swamp

The only problem with adding new areas is they have more items to a game which TB's site shows at 4,000, using the portal system that some games use, it is possible but then they need populating and then have a storyline. With TB currently writing Level 3, that needs to be completed first. Still, when its finished TB may well surprise us. _________________________________________________ TrueB

| well if the game has a 4000 items limit, then it comes down to removing the less important items that a player won't use as often or no longer need, like when you get to a way later point in the game, the weaker gear and weapons for example could be disabled at some point way late in game and that will open up more item space for the newer maps. enemies that have the weaker gear could be replaces with better gear and the weaker gear could be removed from traders. | |

Absolutely, cheers my friend!! Hi Arthoryum, I forgot to mention: if the game is on an external drive, your saves have to be manually removed. It important to keep the all.sav and on level 1, I keep the first 5 files including the all.sav. if you have started on Level 0, much the same suggestion applies. Hi Arthoryum When you reformatted the laptop, was it feasible for you to create a separate partition for the game?

Hi Arthoryum, remember that Stalkersoup writes to the Windows Registry. If you just did a fresh format and Windows re-install on your laptop, then the SS Registry entries will be missing. IF you install to an external hard drive, not recommended, then you should not do a "normal" install, choose the install that doesn't write to the Registry. I forget what it's named, but it's a choice in SS installation. The reason we do not recommend external USB drive installations, is that such devices are not "trusted" by Windows, and the likelihood of future problems is high. That said, I do know of a few external HD installations that do work. Taking ownership is an important step for external installs. Good luck Stalker. _________________________________________________ Один выстрел один труп (One Shot, One Kill)

I am in the process of installing Windows 10 Pro withe idea of testing stalkersoup but am concerned that as my drive will also have Office 2010 on a virtual drive, will Ssoup be ok on a c drive under C:\STALKERSOUP directory as I know not to put it in program folders there is not much room on the hard-drive and my previous experiencing with partitioning showed a lack of space after normal business programs added? ya probably didn't enter the correct number when you split the drive to 2 partitions causing your OS partiton to be bigger then it needed to be, and too small a program files partition to install all your apps and games on.

It couldn 't be for me as I talked about virtual drives, but have since realised that it is better to use my external drive, whilst I look at some of TB's recommendations. Regards and thanks TrueB. _________________________________________________ TrueB

From the Installation Guide, and based on the collective experience of the most technically experienced members of the forum : 'If using Windows 10 (especially Home), do NOT install the game to your main system (C:\) drive/partition. Due to the way Windows 10 manages its files, you need to install to a different drive or partition to the one containing Windows'

- I am in the process of installing Windows 10 Pro with the idea of testing stalkersoup but am concerned that as my drive will also have Office 2010 on a virtual drive, will Ssoup be ok on a c drive under C:\STALKERSOUP directory as I know not to put it in program folders there is not much room on the hard-drive and my previous experiencing with partitioning showed a lack of space after normal business programs added? I look forward to your reply.
Oh! This is a pity though it is Windows Pro as mentioned, but It is a very old laptop and has no space for partitioning. It looks like my external SSD will have to suffice despite some problems. Regards, TrueB. _________________________________________________ TrueB

If you have enough space to install the game, then you have enough space to build a wall around, or 'partition' it. A partition does not require extra space for its own 'walls' My StalkerSoup installation takes up just under 20Gb, so you could create a partition of, say, 25Gb to allow for future expansion, and install the game on its own inside that, fully protected from the ravages of Windows 10...

Thanks for letting me know, I will float the idea to my Muse for her consideration. Regards, TrueB. EDIT: Whilst I thank you for your reply because I was unaware of the small size a partition can accommodate, my Muse was far from amused. So for the same reasons I don't have Stalkersoup on our desktop pc, it won't be going on my laptop either. Every cloud has a silver lining for my lists of artefact, outfit and weapons locations throughout the zone can now be placed on my upgraded RAM to 8gb, and Office 10 Excel to display them. I just need to see whether updating to Windows 10 Pro or remaining with Win 7 will help play. _________________________________________________ TrueB
