| Hey stalkers, Been running into these graphical issues with my latest playthrough. Most AK and AK like models are misaligned with the hover hand issue when sprinting and the texture for Strelok's AK is messed up. I'm running DX 9 on Maximum settings currently but have tried a variation of lowering and increasing settings along with DX 9 - 11. I have made sure to change line 513 on the modder's script as well. I did not touch the texture file at all. Please let me know if I missed anything to include and thank you. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| AKs have had the 'floating hand' issue for as long as I can remember, but it is certainly more noticeable with Strelok's weapon. The textures on Strelok's AK aren't the best, but they look acceptable in my game - to my eyes anyway . (I usually use DX11 Extended, but I checked in DX9 and it looks the same to me.) I am not an expert in what the various graphics settings do, but in my Modders Script line 513 is in the DX11 Extended section. If you are using a different DX setting, I think you would need to change sun_near in the relevant section further down. Personally (again possibly due to my ageing eyes) I can't see any difference when changing sun_near, so I leave it at the default value. | |

| I saw a bunch of threads about it and they all seem to be at a dead end . Does yours look like the above or close to the picture in the inventory? The last time I played was back in 2016 so I wanted to make sure my game wasn't messed up. Thank you for taking the time to reply. | |

| Your pictures are a bit dark to see clearly, but this is what I see in my game so you can compare. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

Hi pchester & ataberk222, Stalkersoup in my opinion is quite RAM hungry. It needs a good graphics card, preferably one that is in sync with Players' monitors. I imagine, since I haven't got on the new 4080 ti Nvidia graphics cards, that they would offer a very stable image; I have the version below that matches itself to monitors, and this has good GPU RAM whereas Stalkersoup being a 32bit game is if I recall correctly limited in the use of CPU RAM, if under Nvidia settings players set their spare RAM to graphics appearance instead, then that can improve viewing. I cannot recall, the last time I played, problems with Strelok's AK as it being in sync with the monitor, made all graphics stable and improved, except wiith the latest antitank gun. It was more of a problem years ago. There are also programs that close down unnecessary Windows 11 programs to give images more stability. Asus have 2 on their site, the earliest, I found best.. Some of the latest firearms are very finely modded. I hope this helps. Regards TrueB _________________________________________________ TrueB
