I find it difficult for someone from Duty to get the flask, since it's behind the fence. Even, as this is a large area, it can be moved further away, there is enough space to leave it. But if you insist on putting it on that side, it would be best to finish the other side of the buildings to make it feel more real, and not a complete void, breaking the immersion .
The immersion of the game is my biggest complaint in this, and not so much the place.
I need to install the game to show you what I meant with infinished buldings.

While I totally agree with you about the unpleasant unfinished terrain, the reason for the flask's location is because the guy who stole it threw it over the fence before he was caught with it at the checkpoint...
The fence is part of Rostok's boundary, after Duty built it to keep the area safe from mutants and bandits, thus limiting the number of ways in and out to just two checkpoints...

there is an option in the modders script which will force them to be spawned inside the base instead of over the fence. The unfinished areas in the game are being worked on but when done will force a new start as the game graph will change and not match prior saves. It has been decided that this will not happen until the last levels are added to the game as well as completion of the new engine that will support 4K/8K textures.

I can't say for certain, only that the new patch containing the combined submissions from all the devs over the past 18 months are in the process of being compiled and tested
It'll be worth the wait though, because it'll literally take the game to a whole new level

If anything though I'm mostly looking forward to the 64-bit engine since i got lots of ram for a 64-bit game to chew on (64GB for a 64-bit game sounds like more thane nough

As you know, one of our team is in Ukraine. There has been no contact since Kyiv was attacked. There seems to be no internet connection there as none of his family is responding either. I hope they are safe and well and this madness stops.
As for the update: Since there is no way to acquire his work (audio/visual) I have started creating a new ending scene myself which I am sure won't be as good as his, hopefully he is safe and can submit it before final release (110020). I have reviewed the text improvements (not all) and I can say the improvement team really rocks, THANKS!
There will be more content for levelup 3 and even though the ending won't be done this patch the DLC content will kick in after you have destroyed the generators or run out of time. Those creating DLCs should work with me so that we can establish a structure which satisfies everyone's needs as well as creating a document on how they are created.

Problem i have, when i click the updateSS, i get this. first it was, unable to update, do you want to go the website, i click yes, then it toook me to MEGA, and i downloaded the file, NEW PATCH - 2 file inside -STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019 setup.exe, and STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019.5 setup.exe. where do i add them ? i then tryd to update again as normal, then i get tald, no newer version of stalkersoup is available at this time, so, how wil i see iff i got this new update, or where do i add the files i downloaded ?

I was able to run the install exe, but I am having trouble playing the new patch. Is anyone else having problems or is it just me?
When talking to Astrologer, I do not get the option to end the dialogue and I have to use ESC. A few minutes later I lose the minimap and then my mouse/keyboard controls (apart from ESC) stop working. When I restart the game I can get to the menu, but when I select a save the game crashes while loading. This is the error:

Tried installing the patch twice, rebooting my PC in between, but the menu screen still shows
Also, on loading the game, it doesn't progress beyond 'Entering the Zone'
So I'm going to try a full reinstall too, just like in the good old days...

i cant seem to be able to install it through the google drive one it says incompatible with the 1.1.0012 version and needs the 1.1.0019 version or it will abort the install this might be the issue

Hi ses. Several of us are having the same problem. Aleks posted above that there is a problem with the new patch installer program. He will be issuing a fix as soon as he can.

If you can get into Stalkersoup MEGA, then download the file named ( NEW PATCH ) and instal this part = STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019.5 setup.exe = and you wil be back in the game where you last saved. I have just done that and all is working fine on my side. Good luck and good hunting. Daaaaam!! OK, i hit a snag, everytime i log out, and then log back in, i need to reinstal that NEW PATCH to be able to play, yes stalker, reinstal the NEW PATCH if you loged out of the game, otherwise you will have a crach klicking on the auto last save or on the last manual save. Sory about that stalker, Dok is looking into the problem of the new patch. Also, i found that if you have a 8 x artifect case in you item section, an d you buy one more, the box stays open and cannot be closed, and nothing works, so you need to reboot your pc, reinstal STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019.5 setup.exe, log in and go on with what you need to do, and remove artivect box in your item box before buying one more..

RIP WHITE WOLF, he got his brain fried, he forgot hes spy helmet in the bar. Game no longer loading (cannot open fs game.ltx ) , trying a fresh cleen load witthout the new update. i think that will keep me going again till a update fix sporns.
