There's also onother problem with the triggers script. Check function spawn_zat_zombied It should call tb3d_mobs and right now this fucnction will cause CTDs always.

Hi guys. i did a cleanup using revo uninstaller and io bit also sweep't and removed leftovers. Loaded new file from Mega, ran the game verivier, the setup started, did all in the setup, instaled the game, and updated it to 1.10019, game open up, start is good, log out to get to settings, did the setings, loged in and all is good, and i can play from fresh start, as my saved file i save withh the latest updated, crash the game. I will updatet one more time to 1.10019.1 and see if i still can enter the game, and hope it will not update the 1.10019.5 updatet. will give info if it worked or not.
Ok, i updated to 1.10019.1 and im in the game with a fresh start in Cordon. Well see how far i get. Chat again soon, of to Somalia Mokadishu where i work.

Thanks for this! Function spawn_zat_zombied is in the tb3d_triggers.script and not in tb3d_mobs file. It will be corrected soon...
About files names: Every file in StalkerSoup must have a name with the small (and not the caps) letters, as each known unpacking program create files with the small letters in their names, when unpacks! So the DLC files can do some problem later - as the LUA interpreter understands upper and lower letters diferently...

Morning from my side. I loaded the game to1.10019.1 and at first i got in and started at the beginning, but, after i loged out to tell you about it, i then loged back into the game and it loaded the log in screen, click to enter the game nothing happend, only thing was showing is a small square, and putting the mouse pointer on it i read (PLEASE WAIT) This morning i cleaned out the file and are loading new clean file, and will only update to 1.10019, as there i could get into the game and play, and log in and out like 5 times with nou hickups. also, loging out and then closing the load screen that always takes time to go away, one click and it gone. Will keep you up to date if i hite a problem with 1.10019 file.

Hi aleks i just installed manually the patch because the update program for 110019.5 can't download it and at the end makes my way to mega site.
So the files are all like you post the photo.
• At menu i can see DIALOGS INFORMATION • Latest patch says micro rev 1 • When run new game COLLECTOR i have CTD with this in log:
LUA error: ...mes\stalkersoup\gamedata\scripts\bind_stalker.script:859: attempt to call field 'on_item_take' (a nil value)
This happens always. The game is dead now

I notice inside the game folder still exist gamedata.dbv1 This should not be there because carry all obsolete files thats the reason gives CTDs and not show up micro rev 5.
Alex I notice also that zep30_have not exist and gives CTDs if you give it to player.

I put the title in caps because the one thing Stalkersoup has taught me is BEFORE UPGRADING ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP. It can be to another SSD internally; I'm not sure since I always backup to an external drive because of registry conflicts, but perhaps if you backup internally to a file eg "games soup" then remove the 1.10019.5 as per the installation instructions before copying back to a file "Stalkersoup", it should work. The main disadvantages with using an external SSD is with saves and updates. Saves need to be manually reduced at regular intervals and the Forum checked for update news. Still, whatever choice you make it is better in my opinion to have a game that works than not. Provided the issues are reported to Alex or TB, then you can assume the issues will be worked on in due course. Regards TrueB

Just a quick note to advise that, if you do uninstall 1.10019.5 with the intention of reverting to 1.10019.1, you'll need to do a proper reinstall, because the registry keys are different
After much experimentation (on my new Windows 10 PC, but not my old one!), I've finally got 1.10019.5 running, and the new Installation Guide will be published soon
FYI: 1.10019.5 is much better, though I suspect the extra content is pushing the engine to its limits - just like it always does...

Thanks Sword, very comprehensive as always. Running Aleks' Registry script and deleting any gamedata.dbv1 files at each stage of the update seems to have done the trick for me.
Now I just need to figure out where Glavny went...

The update to game version 1.1.0019.5 was released a few days ago. There was a problem with the update/installer program, but Sword2012 has written some instructions and these have been added to his Installation Guide (see link in his post above). The corrected updater will no doubt be released as soon as it has been tested.
The next major update after this will probably be the 64-bit version, but that involves a lot of work and is unlikely to arrive for some time.

I've just got the new update working properly on my older PC, after problems with regular freezing during play
Noticed that several aspects of Windows were also performing noticeably slower, despite being installed on an SSD
Thinking it might be malware, I did a full software and anti-parasite clean up, to no avail
It was only when I checked my motherboard, and found an area of dust clogging up my Arctic Cooler heatsink radiator, that I realized my CPU was overheating
Did a full StalkerSoup cleanout too, reinstalled the game, and it now runs smoothly
The Installation Guide has been updated to include this gem of wisdom, and the installation process simplified ...

Hi guys. i can also conferm that the stalkersoup game 1.10019.5 is runing smoth on win 11. i did a cleen up, using Revo uninstaller, and then ran iobit that removed leftovers. reinstaled stalkerssoup, updated it to latest update 1.10019.5, removed the double copy 'gamedata.dbv1', Dont delet‘gamedata.dbv' you will have problems with the game if it's removed, and all is good on my laptop and PC. I have only gone as far as doing the first 2 jobs for sid, and will keep you all posted if i hit a problem down the road.

Would you like to send me a P.M with all areas you have notice the issue so i can balance it. I suspect that the issue is because of to short distance between the spawn points. And there's one more thing..... There are one time spawns is some maps and this points are all inside the extra spawns which can intense a bit at first spawn.
Let me see the lname to balance it.

You could also look at overspawns of various types of Zombies

Hi TB, in your Modders.Script there are 3 settings that lead in my opinion to too many spawns. In the fauna options there are minimum numbers eg in certain areas they cannot be reduced. Secondly the number of attacks, so repeating eg psi-dog attacks. Then there are random attacks. Mention of amending the Modders.Script seems to lead to a suggestion of somehow "cheating" or that it might upset the game. The simple way for the last is to make copy of the Modders.Script before adjustments. Opening the Modders.Script can of course within its parameters reduce greatly over spawning eg dog spawns of up to 60 dogs. Perhaps if the settings are changed to less numbers by default within the Modders.Script but allow those with powerful PCs and a wish to make gaming more aggressive to be able ramp up the settings, especially for the ones with (m) on. There also seem to be over-rides built in, eg the spotted rodents which have a habit of spawning at MO's feet. Surround spawning from various mutants can make the defence of backing away and circling very difficult. Fortunately most mutants seem to be territorial within areas. I have found when playing the Levelups that spawns seem greater and wonder if within these, there could be the Cadet upwards options from Level0 too. Regards TrueB

Hi TB, re over-spawning, I am currently doing Collector using my renamed version to 1.1.10019.5. In Radar 1, just prior to the end of Collector's stashes, my MO had to jump up onto a rock as 3 lots of about 30 psi-dogs per round attacked, thanks to MO's agility he grenaded each milling show of these creatures, which seemed to stop the rounds - something I didn't realise could be achieved in a 10 rounds MO v Psi-dogs fight. Just a warning that the files on the ModDB site haven't been updated since 2016. They're obsolete and won't work for you
Have you tried the torrent, or the Google Drive account site - as listed in the Installation Guide?
Alternatively, download the files from Mega one at a time. If it stops you after 2Gb, then wait 4 hours or so and continue

The catcher plants are now invisible (even while being trapped in one), in the hut south east in atp there is no dead body with the optical disk for Adrenalin, in the armory in the freedom base in army warehouse is no RG-6 grenade launcher I shall bring Voronin, also not in the bloodsucker village (I checked carefully every house). Hi xalfer If you send your crash log direct to TecnoBacon via his site as an attachment but beware for I couldn't comment due to the length of the text. So this is why in my reply it is deleted. However, if you send the autosave.sav file for when you entered the ATP so TB can open the autosave.sav file and check out why the body is missing. Regarding catcher plants, throwing bolts ahead of you will trigger anomalies. It is only later in the game that warning devices can be gained to show these plants. To get the RG6 from the village, you first need to share vodka with the Freedom Cook if I recall correctly. Some items may only appear ones an action has been achieved. Some bodies may be dressed in 'invisibility suits' young method of finding them is a good idea.

I didn't see it in the changelog, but is this the new english translation rework, or is that coming with 1.1.0020?

1.10019.5 comes with 18 months' worth of new translation and clarification from the Dialogues Team across the entire game, but most especially in Levels 1-3 which have become one continuous story following on from Level 0
