Hi Massie
1.10019.5 comes with 18 months' worth of new translation and clarification from the Dialogues Team across the entire game, but most especially in Levels 1-3 which have become one continuous story following on from Level 0
1.10020 will come with even more

Hi Miksa
You should now be playing 1.10019.5
It's going to be a while before the final version 1.10020 is released, so instead of holding your breath, just enjoy the current version with all its bugs and typos

Hi xalfer If you send your crash log direct to TecnoBacon via his site as an attachment but beware for I couldn't comment due to the length of the text. So this is why in my reply it is deleted. However, if you send the autosave.sav file for when you entered the ATP so TB can open the autosave.sav file and check out why the body is missing. Regarding catcher plants, throwing bolts ahead of you will trigger anomalies. It is only later in the game that warning devices can be gained to show these plants. To get the RG6 from the village, you first need to share vodka with the Freedom Cook if I recall correctly. Some items may only appear ones an action has been achieved. Some bodies may be dressed in 'invisibility suits' young method of finding them is a good idea.
Hi, than you for the answer, here are a follow-up to the last post even if it's some time ago (real life was extremely busy).
I know about bolt throwing, was medium advanced playing 1.10019.1 when I had to restart for 1.10019.5. I don't like it, having a keyboard key to throw a bolt would be better. In reality it wouldn't be a problem the carry a normal gun and from time to time pick with one hand a bolt from the pocket to throw it.
The invisible catcher plant aren't a real problem because for most of them I already know where they are, luckily they don't move. Probably more a symptom, see below. And a little bit sad because as long as I am outside of it they are a really beautiful piece of design.
Invisible bodies are not a question of the uniform they are wearing, this happens also with all kinds of mutants. With increasing frequency if the number of bodies is becoming higher.
Entering ATP was already the third time, I found that after the second time the optical disc was there so I decided to restart at this point, it was only a small loss in game progress.
That wasn't the case with the missing RG6. I drunk already a lot vodka with the freedom cook somewhere in the far past. Checking all the old saves I found one where the RG6 was in the basement in the bloodsucker village but not in the armory. But the save was so old that I didn't want to use it, so I used the cheat/spawn menu to spawn the needed grenade launcher. Got the message to bring it to Voronin and checked the inventory that it's really there. Then I passed the checkpoint from Army Warehouse to Rostok, went to Voronin and the RG6 was gone. Spawned it again and Voronin is happy with it. This goes with my observation that VOG25 grenades are disappearing from the inventory passing a checkpoint, only one already loaded in a launcher passes. Having some spare grenades is more fun.
Sometimes whe I open an artefact container to move an artefact in or out the container disappears after 'use' with all of his contents.
Hitting F1 for quick medkit is very often an instant crash, especially in battle situations where it is needed really quick. Using the medkit from the inventory seems to be better.
Many anomalies are missing. For example all of them in Agroprom Underground and in Central Pripyat.
The shooter turrets blocking the passage from Dark Valley to The Dump are missing, really missing, not only invisible, that's bad because I love to use them for sniping practice.
The "I said come in! Don't stand there" guy disappeared from the entry to the Radbar.
The minimap stopped to show green/yellow/red dots.
I have the idea that many of the problems are related to a lack of resources, especially memory. My computer is running windows 10 pro with 16 GB ram, no other programs running and I try to keep windows slim, so the 32 bit engine might be the culprit. And I am a hoarder, in almost every level I have visited I have a storage backpack with all the stuff with might be useful in the future even if it's only for selling it to buy other things.
Is there a tool to unpack the game like it can be done with other stalker like games? The existance of fsgame.ltx makes me think that it should be possible to replace original game files with edited versions like it's done for modding. In the heavy crash prone state of the game it might be more fun hunting bugs in LUA code than mercs and bloodsuckers.

I use a different unpacker, but I am sure these work just as well.
I'm sure you already know this, but keep any unpacked files well away from your StalkerSoup installation until you are ready to copy the edited files across.

I have noticed these two things as well: The "I said come in! Don't stand there" guy disappeared from the entry to the Radbar.
The minimap stopped to show green/yellow/red dots.
Additionally, the radar on the right seems to show only rats as red, all the rest seem either white or, for dogs, yellow, or even more strangely, for burers, green!!! LOL But hey, these are minor things. At the moment in general the game is running wonderfully. the amount of work that the various members, (There are the ones I am aware of that are involved: Sword2012, pchester, Aleks1970 and of course the main Dev technobacon, there may be more), have put into this work of art is quite simply breathtaking. I can only say thank you to all for your dedication and commitment to this game. @sword2012, I am still looking at the files you sent me, I will respond via email once I have things tidied up a bit more.

hi markdewet
Yes, the guy at the Bar entrance does disappear, and the reason for this is in the new dialogue files
Please accept my apologies for not yet sending you the additional files I promised, but I've been up to my eyes in RL matters
To my knowledge I've only sent you three files so far. There are more to come...

Ah Ok, I see about the guy in the bar. I will wait for the new dialogue files. There is no need to apologise, sir, I fully understand RL can interfere. Yes, you only sent 3, of which one, the teleport document, is basically finished as is, so it could be shared here if anyone wants it.

There's just one working location missing from the Teleport Menu, making it 86 locations in all

Other than that, it's as good to go as I'm aware of, and thank you!

Hi all, just a small glitch I have just picked up, Fly sometimes gets stuck trying to exit the secret cave, however, a few F6's and F7's should free her up and she will then make her way to the stalker camp (I had to F6 and F7 3 times). Hope this helps someone.

With apologies to Ahmad8079, for the sake of tidiness I've edited this thread to make improved sense in English
Hi Ahmad8079 Updates to the game are usually announced around Christmas, though over the past two years Real Life has severely impacted the lives of all the developers - most especially those in Ukraine
Work continues on the game, however, and we all hope for another announcement soon

110020 update should be out soon, i wait some files to pack the .db0 gamedata to upload to the dropbox and it will be ready with a ton of fixes additions and many improvements and optimizations by me. Tecnobacons story will end and need some tests by him, and DLC can be triggered after that. My DLC supports a big new storyline about the lost stalker group which opens a new reality in the game.

I will try to make it undockable, but i thing this DLC should be a part of SS game we will see how it goes along with TB3D.
The main story is splited into DLC level-ups. Level-up 0: As an introduction, Talks about a lost stalker group that missed since 2006. The player after reclamation level receive a message to have a look for a strange guy in aver area. This guy seems tourist but he is just a survivor from zombie invasions outside the zone and find a shelter into the zone. This tourist gives a quest to Marked one to start search on close friend of him named petrov, a loner that tried to find out this lost stalker group.
Player start to follow petrov path until he discovered strange things about this group and decide to discover their work.
Level-up 0 will end with the notification of sveblov from CS Sky That Renagade faction start to take over Marsh and garbage as a part from faction wars while NPP north and south the war considered ongoing the player should help CS sky to purge all marsh renegades and enstablish Nebo soldiers across all marsh land, especially at (outpost, church, small village, northern village, and the farm). Once player complete this small war he receive a message from Sidorovich and this is the end of level-up 0.
Level-up 1: Sidorovich knew this lost stalker group especially their leader which he used to lived near cordon area and used to hide his stashes in stones and bushes. The player have to find out more about this group until a radiation storm comes back again and slows the player from searching. While Radiation storm happen some areas invaded with deathclaws and player should kill them. After some time, Marked one continues his main quest. Then he finds out that the planet is infected with the T-virus and the zone not yet infected and that lost stalker group tried to stop the responsible NEW faction do that but failed.
Level-up 2: The zone slowly invaded by undeads (new zombie models along with lickers and dogs) He have now only one option. To kill all the hostiles and protect the whole zone, Player should travel from level to level and kill many times the undeads more than a few hundreads and at the same time search more clues about lost stalkers.
Level-up 3: Americans arived at cordon outpost and settle a US temporary base and needs helps as they are the last soldiers survided in the East Europe from the T-Viral spread. They are in the same position as loners but need ammo and food supplies. They help marked one to reach umbrellas faction leader and purge him. While the zone is very unstable from undeads finally finds a cure to all this with an antivirus.
Level -up 4: Talks about alien nature from americans post to t-virus antivirus release.
Level-up 5: Is under construction and talks further about ovomorphs and aliens while tvirus spread is significantly ceased and restricted. Faction wars will restart in marsh and garbage and probably NPP.
Level-up 6: Still under construction and depending on level 5
Same for level up 7,8,9.
Keep in mind that player from start face new survival conditions inside the zone. Water and food supplies are contaminated now and MO cannot eat or drink, so he switch to natural hunting for his food and cooking it after. Same with water.
New Features comes with 1) Undeads can infect the player with the T-virus and there is new medical supplies to prevent or cure it.
2) Mushroom hunt periods for 2 days occured randomly by zone blowouts or environment which forces zone to produce newborn special mushrooms and artefacts never seen before.
3) A ton of new sub quests.
4) New crafting feature so player will survive the new zone conditions.
5) Player now can craft new ammunition for new weaponry.
6) Digging with a shovel at all known graves or special spots for treasure and quest items.
7) Sinister faction Used to live in Cavemines and sometimes goes out for the faction wars usually in the garbage area.
Much more content
Right now i have completed the level ups 0,1,2,3,4 while 5 is on starting.
Hope 110020 version goes well with the original storyline and my DLC will be released with around 2Gb of content.
The best is yet to come for all loners

To my knowledge, nobody is currently working on an alternative language translation - though this wouldn't be a good idea at the moment until the second draft of the English files has been completed

I wanted to translate here and noticed something where it is written translated not full-fledged English but mixed with other languages, for example, there is a Hrovat language in the text and because of this half of the files I cannot translate in general a file where it is written in different languages dmx_mod_encyclopedia, I ask for a full translation into English, I'm going to translate into different languages for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine and Turkey and Turkmenistan and Tajikistan and German and Chinese and Mongolian and Tatar and French and Azerbaijani!

Wow! Thank you very much for your kind offer, though I hope you're aware of the sheer magnitude of this undertaking... Currently, the game's 157 text files weigh in at a total of 5.5Mb. Though a small portion of it is scripting code, this is the equivalent of seven 325-page novels!
However, I'm puzzled when you say that the 'dmx_mod_encyclopedia' file contains several languages. Other than the transliteration of place names from Russian to Ukrainian pronunciation, in English characters, this entire file was completed into English in early 2021, and released with the 1.10019.5 patch
What version of the game are you playing, please? Are you able to unpack the .dbs file into the individual text files? If so, please check the notes at the top of 'dmx_mod_encyclopedia'. They should contain these two lines: <!-- Merged with new file from Aleks1970, to include 28, then 31 new locations - 23 Feb 21, then 16 Mar 21. Added 'Teleport' from Aleks 28 Apr 21 - Sword2012 --> <!-- All new Russian place names created by pchester now transliterated to Ukrainian - Sword2012 - 02 Dec 22 -->
All the other text files will tell you, at the top, if the file has been completed into English, with the date it was 'signed off'
However, a second draft of all the text files is currently underway, so I recommend that you wait until this has been done before starting 'official' translations into all those languages you mention above! There are still many, many errors to resolve...

Oh wow, some news about Stalkersoup. I was planning to do another run at one point but after switching from Anomaly/S2 etc... It's super hard to deal with the stutters of a 32bit game tbh. Can't wait to see the new content and especially the 64bits engine. It'll be such a breeze! Cheers @all the devs & contributors

Stutters can be as much to do with syncing your graphics card with your monitor. This can be done with syncing in Nvidia, as has in my opinion worked well for me in the 32bit game.

Oh there's a solution? Syncing? What do you mean by that? The vertical sync in the Nvidia Graphics Panel?

Oh there's a solution? Syncing? What do you mean by that? The vertical sync in the Nvidia Graphics Panel?
If you go into Nvidia, there should be a panel of options one of which mentions sync. This very much depends on you having an Nvidia graphics card. Many Monitors are programmed to sync with graphics cards. The one I had was an Acer Predator 27 inch. My Dell also syncs with graphics cards, and the card likewise with the monitor. The one I had last with the Acer was a 3080ti if I recall correctly and that did. Checking the sites for your graphics cardmmight give you more useful data on this, in my opinion. Regards TrueB

It's called G-Sync. Not all GPUs and monitors support it, however you can find out if yours does it by following this:https://www.nvidia.com/content/Control-Panel-Help/vLatest/en-us/mergedProjects/nvdsp/To_use_variable_refresh_rates.htm

Aaaaah GSYNC. No I don't have it I have a powerful laptop. Definitely a problem with the 32bit engine tho. Stalker 2 runs at 80+ FPS in High and 100% of x64 based Stalker SOC mods (OGSR etc...) are running at 120+ FPS.
I'll continue till the upgrade to x64 for SS. Can't wait, it will be awesome.

What GPU is on your laptop? I have a desktop running a simple nVidia GT730 2GB GPU and do not experience ANY stuttering whatsoever with STALKERSOUP.

An NVidia 2070 Reflex 8GB VRAM. I'm experiencing stuttering every time I play. Are you playing in DX11/DX11 Enhanced or DX9?

DX11. I found DX11 Enhanced caused CTD on occasion.

Hi Markdewet, that's good to know for I will try DX12 and see if it is an improvement. When playing through different versions of Stalkersoup since 2012, I usually began with DX9 as I found that the most stable. If all okay, I then adjusted to whatever was the latest available version. As I hope to revisit Stalkersoup in the next fortnight, I want to avoid any glitches. Thanks and Regards TrueB

Hi Semtex
I'm currently running at DX11 Extended on a bog-standard RTX2060, although it also ran well on DX11 Extended with my previous GTX760
As such, the game does not push graphics cards much at all, but it is very CPU intensive, so ensure that as many background processes as possible - including your antivirus - are shut down before launching the game
It might also be worth you taking a look at the game's Installation Guide, to see what can be done to help it run more efficiently
pchester's superb walkthrough also contains many useful tips on this

Not sure I understand your post, there is no DX12 option in STALKERSOUP that I am aware of.
