If you send your crash log direct to TecnoBacon via his site as an attachment but beware for I couldn't comment due to the length of the text. So this is why in my reply it is deleted. However, if you send the autosave.sav file for when you entered the ATP so TB can open the autosave.sav file and check out why the body is missing. Regarding catcher plants, throwing bolts ahead of you will trigger anomalies. It is only later in the game that warning devices can be gained to show these plants. To get the RG6 from the village, you first need to share vodka with the Freedom Cook if I recall correctly. Some items may only appear ones an action has been achieved.
Some bodies may be dressed in 'invisibility suits' young method of finding them is a good idea.
Hi,
than you for the answer, here are a follow-up to the last post even if it's some time ago (real life was extremely busy).
I know about bolt throwing, was medium advanced playing 1.10019.1 when I had to restart for 1.10019.5. I don't like it, having a keyboard key to throw a bolt would be better. In reality it wouldn't be a problem the carry a normal gun and from time to time pick with one hand a bolt from the pocket to throw it.
The invisible catcher plant aren't a real problem because for most of them I already know where they are, luckily they don't move. Probably more a symptom, see below. And a little bit sad because as long as I am outside of it they are a really beautiful piece of design.
Invisible bodies are not a question of the uniform they are wearing, this happens also with all kinds of mutants. With increasing frequency if the number of bodies is becoming higher.
Entering ATP was already the third time, I found that after the second time the optical disc was there so I decided to restart at this point, it was only a small loss in game progress.
That wasn't the case with the missing RG6. I drunk already a lot vodka with the freedom cook somewhere in the far past. Checking all the old saves I found one where the RG6 was in the basement in the bloodsucker village but not in the armory. But the save was so old that I didn't want to use it, so I used the cheat/spawn menu to spawn the needed grenade launcher. Got the message to bring it to Voronin and checked the inventory that it's really there. Then I passed the checkpoint from Army Warehouse to Rostok, went to Voronin and the RG6 was gone. Spawned it again and Voronin is happy with it. This goes with my observation that VOG25 grenades are disappearing from the inventory passing a checkpoint, only one already loaded in a launcher passes. Having some spare grenades is more fun.
Sometimes whe I open an artefact container to move an artefact in or out the container disappears after 'use' with all of his contents.
Hitting F1 for quick medkit is very often an instant crash, especially in battle situations where it is needed really quick. Using the medkit from the inventory seems to be better.
Many anomalies are missing. For example all of them in Agroprom Underground and in Central Pripyat.
The shooter turrets blocking the passage from Dark Valley to The Dump are missing, really missing, not only invisible, that's bad because I love to use them for sniping practice.
The "I said come in! Don't stand there" guy disappeared from the entry to the Radbar.
The minimap stopped to show green/yellow/red dots.
I have the idea that many of the problems are related to a lack of resources, especially memory. My computer is running windows 10 pro with 16 GB ram, no other programs running and I try to keep windows slim, so the 32 bit engine might be the culprit. And I am a hoarder, in almost every level I have visited I have a storage backpack with all the stuff with might be useful in the future even if it's only for selling it to buy other things.
Is there a tool to unpack the game like it can be done with other stalker like games? The existance of fsgame.ltx makes me think that it should be possible to replace original game files with edited versions like it's done for modding. In the heavy crash prone state of the game it might be more fun hunting bugs in LUA code than mercs and bloodsuckers.
