Latest version of Soup 1.10019.1. Where is it?

Hi,
I only seem to be able to find 1.10018, yet with the guide at version 1.10019(?), I have not been able to find an update for 1.10019.
Please advise if this exists as I understand from the Forum 1.10019.1 is due.

Hi TrueB. We are currently on version 1.1.0019.1. The link to the 1.1.0019 patch is in the downloads section [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I don't see a link to the 0019.1 micropatch, but running the updater in your main StalkerSoup folder should give you the latest version whichever version you are running now. If for some reason you don't have the updater, it is also available on the above page.

If it helps, version 1.10019.1 of the Installation Guide will be out this week, based upon a fresh installation, and incorporating useful snippets of info gleaned from the forum since 1.10019  


EDIT: While updating the Guide, I found that some of the twelve Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable libraries, needed for the game, have been updated over the last few months

There's a superb download, which installs all twelve in the correct order, here

My Kaspersky antivirus and SuperAntispyware found no problems with it

I uninstalled my 16 existing libraries and their updates first (not my XNA libraries), rebooted, ran a registry clean, and installed the new ones. This left me with a much newer and neater 12 libraries

Note that when you run the Updater (and you may need to run it twice), it will tell you that you've just updated from 1.10019 to 1.10019  

It does not indicate an update to 1.10019.1

Only once you're at the game's menu screen, you should see at the bottom
GSC[1.0006] STALKERSOUP {Version: 1 Release: 1 Revision: 0019} Micro rev: 1

It's that little 'Micro rev' that shows you're now on 1.10019.1

I clicked on 'here' but it took me to a friendly comment supplying various plans for the game. Do you know where I can get a patch for 1.10019 please as I only seem to have 1.10018, or at least the tb3 modders.script?
I think the main .db files are up to date but I cannot recall when I downloaded the helpful patch from Aleks regarding shaders, and where to place them. Any help with this is much appreciated. My play .dbs are post September 2019 so it seems likely they are the up to date basic ones and some later .db ones may be another patch. I think it may be just the 1.10019 script that's missing? Hi Sword, I cannot use the updater for I play from the external SSD the files supplied to me as a set. In the process of sorting files re the game, there order got muddled. regards, TrueB.

I've installed the game. I've launched the udater but all that I can see is
GSC[1.0006] STALKERSOUP {Version: 1 Release: 1 Revision: 0019} The part with Micro rev: 1 don't appear. And I've tried various time.

At this point, especially as a new game is required, I'd seriously suggest uninstalling your game totally, clearing your registry, rebooting, and installing the game from scratch, following the step-by-step guide here

It took me ages to get everything right, but doing this made a huge difference to my own game...

Now I'm ok with the micro patch 1 on the launch page.
I've noticed that on my pc there wasn't installed the
XNA Framework Redistributable (all). Im using win 10.
I'm astonished, but that's life!
About the new installation, that I've just done, I've reinstallaed all the package about Visual C red.
And now let's go, begins a new game.

The link should take you to the Download Sections page (at least, that is where it takes me). You can also find this and other main section pages by clicking on the banner picture at the top of every page.

It might be easier to just run the auto-updater (UpdateSS.exe in your main StalkerSoup folder) as this should update your game directly to the latest 1.1.0019.1 micro-patch.

Hi the updater stopped working for me in Wine (it always says the Update server cannot be reached, I even tried several native .dlls but it persists).
Is the micropatch also available for download somewhere without the Updater?

It works ok for me so you have something or someone
wich blocks the update program from reaching the update server.

What do you mean by that statement?

I am on Linux using Wine.
The Updater used to work in older versions of Wine.
Alas it seems it no longer does. The native dll bit was workaround measures often taken
when something in wine does not work. Alas here they did not work out.

Hence my question if a direct D/L link for the micropatch could be had?
