Stalker OP 2.2 Always clear weather

Hello there, i know this is a Stalkersoup forum and the discussion of OP 2.2 is useless here.

All i want is to change the weather from clear all of the time.



Please, any modder help would be appreciated. Or point me to the forum where i should be asking this question.

If you were playing StalkerSoup, while ingame you'd press Escape, choose  Advanced Options, and change the weather from 'Fair' to 'Cloudy' or 'Default'

I don't know if this will work in OP2.2, as the creators may have chosen a different way to do it - but we know that it's possible...

I know lol, it's so easy in Stalkersoup.

But this dosen't exist in OP 2.2.

I tinkered with a file called dynamic_weather_graphs.itx and it had these values:

[dynamic_default]
clear = 0.08
cloudy = 0.5
rain = 0.7
thunder = 0.6

Seems pretty self explanatory, but it seems like it dosen't affect anything. And it has been several days with this value, with no rain in sight.


PS: I also remember a secret menu in SS that you can show with a hotkey and turn off things like Gas Mask overlay, i wonder if this exist also in OP.

Yes, in StalkerSoup the gas mask overlay can also be changed in the Advanced Options menu

However, although S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-themed, StalkerSoup and OP 2.2 are very different mods with different creators, different code, and different followers

As such, this forum will be of no help to you with OP 2.2, sorry...

I know  , but still i was still hoping somebody might know something.

Funnily enough when i got your message i was in the middle of OP, and lo and behold it started raining for real now  .

I guess it needed more days until it adjusted. Such is life in the zone  .
