I have got the picture from black seas and believe I am standing at the location in the picture. Its hard to understand what to do next. I have not been able to locate any invisible red enemies with the binoculars. I believe I am suppose to look for a fire but I see none. There is the camp fire area in the rookie village but it doesn't appear to be lit and there is no obvious target there.

the corner of the building across from the cordon stalker camp fire. First, make a quicksave. You only have a few frames of film, and if you run out you will have to either reload or spawn more in. Make sure the camera gun is in your pistol slot, then climb up to that corner of the roof.
Use your binoculars to look toward the fire. As well as the usual stalkers you should see a yellow NPC rectangle around an invisible NPC. Wait until he settles by the fire, centre him in your binoculars and switch to the camera gun. You should get a message telling you that it is ready. Take the photo and wait until things calm down.
Look at the photo you have taken, which will be in your inventory. It shows an outlined figure and a name which - rather unhelpfully for most of us here - is in Russian. The English name is Nix. Look for him at the camp fire and confront him.
Follow the same procedure in AW. After taking the picture, look for Sour at the Freedom camp fire.
After following the instructions above I did not get a completion after talking to nix and father. I went back and had to try several times before I got an instance where nix was not killed. This time the task completed and I got a new task for army warehouse. | |
