Hello Apzue! A tip that works for me - in general do as many missions as practical, large and small, before moving on to a new map. Seek out new characters to see what they might offer.
Missions overlap between maps, so that's unavoidable. Just don't get caught in the mindset of the main, vanilla STALKER mission as you may miss some of the best parts of StalkerSoup.
I had nearly 1/4 million ru and some nice gear before my first visit to Yantar doing this.
