Game freeze on exiting Lab X-18

 need help. i finished the first mission at lab x18 but when i try to exit the game freezes on the dark valley arrival screen. no message just freezes the screen and I have to force quit the game with ctrl alt delete. the game is updated to 19 and so far everything was perfect. some solution. I tried to scale the lights to constipation but nothing

I am guessing here, but there could be an NPC outside with some kind of data corruption, and your game may be crashing when it tries to load it in. Please send a save game from before leaving X-18, to Aleks - adoler(at)gmail.com - so he can take a look at it.

You could also try using the teleport menu (ESC+F2) to 'dvalley' which should drop you inside the  bandit base. Then make your way back to the X-18 compound and see if you get the same crash coming from the other direction. (Be careful if you do this, as there may now be soldiers inside the Bandit base!)

Aleks is one of the game's developers, and among other things he is responsible for looking at problems that players encounter in the game. I don't know if he would need to look into this issue, but please send him your save game anyway, along with a brief description of the problem, and he can decide for himself.
