| Has anyone had this issue? It seems my save file becomes corrupt after leading viktor hologram to the army warehouses. I have loaded previous saves and have gone through different transition points and still my saves become corrupt and unloadable once i get viktor to the transition point to the army warehouses. Anyone know how to solve this? - Here's the log:

| Same happened here today when trying to find Fly in Recon. I NEVER quicksave/load; just autosaves when missiongiven/completed or changing level or ESc+Save game. NOw... everytime I change map the file gets corrupted... sometimes even pressing ESC+Save game crashes the game and corrupts the file.    | |

| Confirmed I can only do ESC+Save game (by now it seems to work) or the mission given/completed autosavings. I dont use quicksaves/loads for fear of frustrating CTD. All my automatic saves when changing levels are corrupted (even the very first one): when I go to the "Load game" option, the save appears normal but the thumbnail screenshot appears like those an detuned TV-screen (those black-grey-white blizzard like screen).
any ideas how to solve it? EDIT: quick loads/saves also work. | |
