Hi, most know me as TrueB. I discovered StalkerSoup from following OcedMyToaster on YT. In those days Soup - as Grimwald referred to it, in his full series on YT was downloaded by torrent, which with 1.5mbs was slow, then came the familiar download of several files and matching them up, and finally the brilliant disc-free standalone all-in-one version.
So many have contributed towards refining Soup and at present TecnoBacon (TB), Aleks, Steve and Sword are involved in making the one-time unclear language in the game, such as to bring the game to life. Imo, Soup is an evolutionary game as it continues to expand and refine. It is also a game that can be 'sculpted' to suit individual play, and for me that is its fascination. So having gamed for years in various genres, since discovering Soup back around version '29, it is the only game I have played since. I was a Beta Tester for TB, for a while and later offered ideas and research. Now I am enjoying Levelups, as a change to Level 0.
