SKAT-15 upgrades

Hey so i found the other 3 upgrades but the clear sky trader doesnt have his. How long does it take to arrive as I've been back and forth now checking over the course of close to 2 in game weeks. Or is there a quest trigger im missing?

you need 10000ru + soul drops artifact for skat 15 mod3 upgrade. syslov swamp trader will give you.

Make sure you have the other parts of the suit with you. I have noticed that he doesn't offer the final part if you aren't carrying the rest. (I'm not sure about the instruction sheet, but I generally carry it with me, just to be sure. )

That would make sense, as he's been tasked with waiting for the right person to offer the final part, thus preventing it from falling into the wrong hands...

i have 3 soul drops, over 600000u amd the other 3 upgrades and still nothing. maybe i just need to wait more or maybe there is some progress trigger. i dunno.

UPDATE: you need 45000u, 1 soul drops artifact, and you must have the first 3 upgrades all installed and wearing the suit. I had the first 3 but only installed 2 to avoid the dark energy usage

Good to know, thanks. That would make more sense, the game only has to check for the 'Mk II' suit rather than for every combination of suit + installed modules + non-installed modules.

There isn't the upgrade on the roof in Radar.

Did you check the note that came with the suit?

The guy who's hiding all these parts is in hiding himself, so it sometimes pays to leave the area and come back later - so that he feels safe enough to come out...

Seeing as he effectively stole the suit he'd been working on, in lieu of wages after his development lab was shut down, this would have been a wise and practical decision...

Sounds reasonable, though when I did this in 0018 the parts for the update were all there without any guy, and in 0019, whilst collecting artefacts black earth/energy not sure of name but they run the SKAT-15, the Radar 2 part was in its normal place, next to these artefacts on MO's first visit before Syak appears. Maybe 0019.1 has changed this?
It also pays, to collect the artefacts and buy them from Sak as soon as available to stash. I don't know if it matters but I also do the same buying Sak's blue batteries.

That's correct. The situation should be the same as before, but you'll never see the guy because he doesn't want to get caught stashing the parts

Which is why it pays to give him some leeway when you're looking (or waiting) for the upgrade blocks, and not expect them all to be in the right places immediately

In other words, if the items aren't where the note says they'll be, then come back later...
