Cannot reach hidden door in Sarcophagus

Hi all,

I'm playing Stalkersoup 1.1.0019.5 and just finish the "Le Havre" branch, killed "Le Havre" and get the dialog with Yakut. (This time it had worked fine)

Now I have 2 options :
- Continue the Quest for Ghost (Agroprom Underground --> Radar)
- Continue previous left missions (Find the Hidden Door in Sarcophagus)

I choose to go north and find the Hidden Door (You know that Strelock always want to go North ...)

So I gone back to Sarcophagus but when I arrive at the small alcove with a ladder that drive to the Hidden Door, I get pushed back and cannot climb the ladder.

I had read that accessing the Ladder is only available after you got to the Wish Granter a make a Wish (I already make it and get teleported to another Map).

So I make a new wish and get teleported in a place in the map I never seen before, look like in Agroprom Underground the stairs that goes to the Military base exit.

Run back to the Ladder but still pushed back !!! 

Did I forget something ?
Do I need to finish the Ghost Search Mission first to open the access to the ladder ?

The teleport blocking the ladder was added to make sure that you do the Wish Granter and O-Consciousness sections in the correct order - i.e., you must visit the Wish Granter first. I couldn't find an info portion to help with this, but there are a couple of other ways to get around it:

I found that you can bypass the teleport by jumping diagonally over it and into the back corner of the small room with the ladder. You can then jump over the teleport again and onto the ladder and climb. Be warned, this may take several attempts, so quicksave after every successful jump!

Alternatively you can use the ESC+F2 teleport menu to 'npp2control', which drops you inside a room full of computer equipment deep within the hidden section of the Sarcophagus. I would only use this method as a last resort, as there will be a lot of enemies remaining in the corridors behind you. There will also be more waiting in the room where you appear, so I would advise turning on 'God' mode in the game options first or you will probably be killed as soon as you arrive!

I try your tip to jump diagonally then I can enter the alcove.
The second jump diagonally to the ladder works after a few attempts but at the time I climb up the ladder, I am teleported back to the entrance of the alcove. Tried it some times same result ...

Any help ?

Sorry, I don't know why that would happen. The teleport bubble must be low on the ground, because you can jump over it. It shouldn't affect you if you have already jumped over it again to reach the ladder. It worked for me, but your teleport might be in a slightly different place.

Are you managing to step off the ladder correctly at the top? I sometimes have trouble leaving ladders and I fall back down - which, in this case, would drop you on top of the teleport. All I can suggest at this point is to make a save when you are on the ladder, then keep trying.

The only alternative that I know of is the teleport menu to npp2control. That does work if you take precautions against being shot on arrival, but I would work back around the corridors and kill the enemies you missed before entering the final room. Then see if you can use the code-locked door from that side, as you may still need to use the decoder on the outer side.

I found another way to get rid of this teleporter when inside the alcove, I changed the "Jump_Speed" from 8.5 to 12 and been able to jump onto the ladder without been teleported. I will set it back to the normal value.

Ah, I did 't think of that. I have used a slightly increased jump height for so long I forget that I am using it. I will have to remember that if anyone else has the same problem. Well done for figuring it out.

Ah, I did 't think of that. I have used a slightly increased jump height for so long I forget that I am using it. I will have to remember that if anyone else has the same problem. Well done for figuring it out.

I always set in the Modders.Script my MO's jump hight to 14.5 to allow him to jump the wire at Army Warehouses. This can lead to problems when trying to jump into railway rolling stock but getting my MO to kneel down first resolves that problem . One thing that does in my opinion stop MO jumping off from the top of ladders is not putting weapons away before climbing.
