Hello guys. Long time no see for many of you. Back from the Steam thread days.

It's been years since I played Stalkersoup and have the same problem I had before...

What should I really put as an option for Stashes? The description is:

Classic Game Mode - combination of random, awards and info.
Random Content Mode - awards are randomized.
Randomly Occurring Mode - adds more random stashes on spawn.


So from my understanding:

- Classic: randomized occurrences with fixed content
- Random Content Mode: only awards are randomized
- Randomly Occurring: more stashes are added on spawn (??)

I don't really understand the 3rd one tbh. Is it adding more chances of occurrences with randomized content?

Hi Semtex, welcome back!

I remember testing these options several patches ago, and I couldn't see any difference in the stashes that I found. That may be just me, or it might mean that the options weren't working. Things may have changed since then... has anyone else noticed a difference? Anyway, now I just leave stashes on the game's default setting.

Ok I'll try to leave it to default mode. I feel the stashes are not that recurrent with the 3rd option. I'll see after a bit of playing how it goes in Classic then may try Option 2.

Don't forget to carry some vodka to share with NPCs. They will often tell you about 'random' stashes.

Oh yeah always! But after that mission to get the artifact transmutator Very Happy

Ok so, after looking at the sak.script it seems the 3rd option is lowering the chances of stash spawn by 25%.

Code:

   end

I took option 2 (Randomised Content) for my playthrough.
