Doc's quest

Hello.

So, I've done Doc's quest - SPOILER:

what do I do now?

Do quests for Akim or something? Also haven't gotten to Red Forest yet, have no ideea how (as you told me, didn't get the quest from Fang).

Is there a way to force activate quests? console commands?

Which of the Doctor's quests are done? There are many involving Doc, and only a few at the beginning of the game.

For instance, have you met Doc in Pripyat, yet?

Yes, he is there now. I found the locket for miner, I found the dog, I got my piece of the Monolith back, now I just completed the Heart of Life quest.

So, the game is progressing for you?

There is no progress now. Or maybe I should do something else?
As I said in my post, once I created the artefact, nothing changes. Hell, I'll go to Warlab see if the mad scientist has something to say.

The Life Heart doesn't lead anywhere at present. It is supposed to resurrect a dead NPC by dropping it on their chest, but I have never managed to get it to work.

Panther won't reappear until you have been to Red Forest and several other areas:

The missing part seems to be getting Fang's first mission in Red Forest. You should have been given that when you spoke to him after leaving Panther in Warlab, when he told you to return Lukash's ring. Do you have the transition from south Radar to Red Forest?

Nope, no transition from Radar to Forest. And I have done the Lukash ring quest. Any way to console-force Fang into giving Red-Forest quest? If it doesn't break anything, that is.

Info portions are like small sections of code that tell the game to do something. ESC-S (ESC then S) opens the spawn menu. On the Info tab there are 4 pages of info portions in alphabetical order. Use the large arrows to navigate between pages. Find the info portion that you want, click on it and click OK, then EXIT. You should see a message that the info portion has been given. If the message says the Info Portion has been removed, it means that your game has already given you that info portion.

Using the Spawn Menu and Infoportion menu is only recommended if you suspect a bug in the game, you believe you've earned the right to move on, or you definitely know something has gone wrong and you want to fix it

For example, I took on the task to earn myself a Transmutator. I completed the task fully, and brought back the item needed by the guy who'd tasked me, only to find him dead. I tried reviving him, but he became hostile. I couldn't get close enough to befriend him again, so I ended up spawning the Transmutator because I was out of options

Just bear in mind that using an Infoportion out of sequence can totally screw up your progress in other parts of the game, and often necessitate starting the game over from scratch, because everything affects everything else...

I am having the same issue as the op, I have no red forest transition from radar. . Sid mentions the transition when giving you the quest to get the artifact case for his part of the living heart recipe. fang has nothing to say to me. Astrologer is no where to be found.


I've completed all the quests for the swamp doctor now.
