| I don't know if this has been reported before. This is obviously a file that the Dialogue Improvement Team hasn't reached yet, so it is still a bit garbled. In the search for Rabinovich, Miser tells MO to talk to Gloomy (unless he means look in a gloomy area!). There is an NPC called Murk in the village, but he doesn't have anything to say. You actually have to talk to Joker. I suggest that this is altered/corrected in Miser's dialogue. You also need to bring 3 vodka or Joker won't talk, but his dialogue doesn't make this very clear. | I did a mission related to Chuka and Huck in Agroprom, I returned to Bar, I talked to Cat, he gave me a mission to visit Miser in AW, but I have a problem with this mission, Miser will not start the dialogue related to Rabinovich. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve it ? ( I can get the mission to find the weed in Agroprom, also, there is a joke about heard of flash but Rabinovich it's not mentioned anywhere. ) | |

The dialogue with Miser should start with - Spoiler:
"Hello Miser, how's life daring?" Do you actually have the task "Find the dealer Rabinowitz"? Sometimes if you close down a conversation too quickly, the task doesn't register. If the task is in your list but Miser still won't talk, you could try the relevant info portions:(*) kot_find_rabi_start  -- starts the 'Find the dealer' task kot_find_rabi_scryaga  -- 'scryaga' translates to 'miser', so I would guess that this sets up Miser's dialogue. I haven't tested it, though. Note: Miser tells you to talk to Gloomy, but you actually want Joker. Take several Vodkas! (I have the opposite problem: Miser doesn't have the "weed" task for me, because the guy in Agroprom is missing. I assume that he got himself killed by bandits earlier.  )
- (*) use of info portions:
Open the spawn menu with ESC-S.
Click on the Info Tab
Use the large left- and right-arrows to navigate between pages
Find the info portion
click on it, then click on OK and Exit.
You should see a message telling you whether it was successful. If the message says it was removed, it means that the game has already given you that info portion.

I just went to the bloodsucker village ( I did not talk to Miser about continuing the mission ) and I found Joker, we drank vodka Modest, he told me that Modest was wounded and to lie a little to north in the village, I saved Modest, killed a couple of Avengers and he told me that Rabi is in Pripyat. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] But in my PDA there is still a mission to talk to the Miser
In the main quest - Spoiler:
I need to go to Red Forest and X-10 , I also have a Le Havre mission to find the corpse of the Monolith in X-10, Bolt was not at Agroprom, so I had to spawn his pda [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In NS_Guide_11_Nov_2010 it says Bag lying beside a metal construction, dried. How to exit the van to look ahead , but that's not very helpful to me. So I may have to repeat the load and not take this mission, I will not lose a lot because I directly from the AW went to Agroprom

If you stand in the door of the deserter container, looking out side, just turn slightly to your right, on the rubbish bin, the big long one, weed bag it's on top of it.

Do you mean the belongings that LeHavre stole? - Spoiler:
After killing LeHavre you talk to Yakut. Then you kill the mercs in the camp at the end of the road. One of them should have a blue metal box, which you take back to Yakut.
Friar does go AWOL occasionally. You can spawn in his PDA with fraer_pda. Did Cat tell you to talk to Miser? That should have set up the dialogue as above. You could try talking to Joker anyway (you must have 3 Cossack vodkas or he won't talk) or just search the village for Modest ... if he has spawned, you will see his white dot on your minimap. | |

| Hmmmm!! Modest has not spawned. Is he necessary?
Also the main quest is, find the missing belongings- find the alleged robbers-talk to Yakut.

| Normally, you "share" 3 Cossack Vodkas with Joker and then Modest spawns. As pchester implied, Modest may spawn without the Joker conversation and vodka session.
Then,
Normally, Modest begins the Rabinowitz spawn and information regarding him. You speak with Modest to trigger the spawn. So Modest is "normally" necessary.
Again, "normally" - which is the easiest and most direct way to play this mission, IMHO. | |

| I completed the quest with Yakut. Ghost is alive and well. The Swamps were mentioned for Avenger hunting.
Still can't get Joker the talk. He says" How're doing." I have a lot of vodka. Modest is nowhere in the Warehouses.
What I really need is a transition to new lands. | |

| There is always a "need" for a transition to new lands, but if you don't complete the Rabinowitz mission those lands will either be or rapidly become barren. That is, the job needs to be completed to advance the game.
I'm at a different place in my game and have forgotten the "right" sequence to take in this mission. The Pliskyin walkthrough is either outdated or just wrong for this series of tasks.
I'd either be waiting for someone with good info on how to proceed or make guesses as to how far back in game saves I would need to go to get the game back on track. And it seems your game is not on track, it has "lost" it's way. | |

Interesting. I'm not sure why Ghost would be the missing link, but talking to him obviously triggered something. Anyway, good to hear that you solved it. Maybe just leaving the area for a while did the trick Modest was trying to lead the Monolith away from his friend Joker at the AW, so he may have led them on a merry chase until he finally lost them, before eventually doubling back close to where his friend was... | |

| BTW, before I left the Military Warehouse area, as I was searching for Modest, I had to kill quite a few Mercenaries near their base. That too might have triggered Modest's appearance.
