| Greetings,
I am very eager to play this as this seems like the highest quality English SOUP mod, however, in the installation guide it is stated that the game should be installed anywhere other than the C: drive, is this necessary? I'm asking this as I don't want to waste time trying it out myself and I would like to avoid creating a new partition just for STALKERSOUP.

Yes, due to the way Windows manages its files, the current 32-bit version of the game should NOT be installed anywhere within C:\ You can either partition your C:\ drive (which is always a good idea if it's a large drive and came that way from the factory), or you can add a small SSD or M.2 drive for games which require a lot of loading - like StalkerSoup does as you move between maps | |
