| Im playing Collector mode BTW... Talked with Voronin, a bunch of nonsense really. I was asking about codes... After the conversation, PDA entry appears, something about Darkscape and I should check it out. Also that I should talk to Ivantsov and Petrenko to get their opinion.
However, neither has anything to say to me in this regard. I went to DS anyway, nothing to report. Did I miss something? Do I need to advance further in the ZEP quests?
Also, I found the final stash of the collector. But I remember Ceasars Mushroom was lying nearby. But on this playthrough it never spawned. Is it not supposed to when playing Collector? Vers. 10019

| Hi kdragon7. I am a bit confused about where you are in the ZEP quest line. - Spoiler:
Darkscape is the first place that you visit on the ZEP quest, and there is no need to return there until you have found Tweed's diary. Voronin and the codes are mentioned in ZEP [08], which you find in Cemetery, but it isn't until you reach Research Station that you are called back to the Bar.
Unfortunately, as you found out, when you return Voronin is no help. However, when you ask Barkeep about the stranger, he tells you that his guard chased him into the Wild Territory. Ivantsov and Petrenko should then have something to say on the subject. You can then head to Wild Territory to find the next document.
If you are somewhere else in the ZEP quest line, please let us know which ZEP doc you found last.
I have never played Collector in stand-alone mode, but I am pretty sure the mushroom should be there - it can be difficult to see and might still be hidden somewhere in the undergrowth. The clues carved on it are "ATP … Truck … NW … tree" (actually NW is wrong, it should be NE). However, Caesier's stashes won't appear until after you complete ZEP and receive an SMS from Sid.
Note: there is a bug in the current game where Sid's message doesn't happen and the first of Caesier's stashes doesn't appear. If this happens to you, using info portion "tb3d_hunt2_start" should get things back on track.
Good hunting, Stalker.

| Hi kdragon7
This previously independent addon known as 'The Collector' has now been incorporated into the main gamestream, which is why the dialogues sound confusing
They'll only make sense if you play the game from the start, and progress naturally into what could now be called 'Episode 4'
The current option to play it separately will likely be removed in the forthcoming new patch

I scoured every inch of that area, no luck. I found the mushroom in the modders toolbox, so I guess I'll spawn it myself. Bummer. I hope it doesnt break the questline. As for ZEP, Ive got ZEP 5 and am headed to E. Pripyat, hopefully things will sort themselves out.

Ok, good to know. One new issue: Got the gold bar from the dead marshes and the note says to see Voronin. I did, but he has nothing relevant to say. BTW, I already got the last ZEP (Jup underground) and am deep in the Bars quest.

| Yes, Voronin is a 'red herring' in this case, and you can safely ignore him and follow the other clue in the note.
I always advise completing the ZEP quest line before starting the Gold Bars, if only because having two major quest lines running at the same time can be confusing!
When you are ready to begin Caesier, don't forget the bug workaround that I mentioned above...

Hi Kdragon, and all Players: regarding your questions, whilst the Forum is a good place for information, the reason Helpers use the Spoiler technique is it can give other Players information they might prefer to find for themselves. Please consider using the Spoilers technique yourself. There are two excellent Stalkersoup Game Guides, which I recommend Players to check as their first place to look for answers. As they are in the form of walkthroughs they do contain spoilers. However, whilst Stalkersoup is a linear Game in its main quests, it is also a complex Game and to achieve a first walk through, will often require doing things in the way described in the Guides. I highly recommend them. I hope this information is of help to you. Regards TrueB. _________________________________________________ TrueB
