(solved) List index out of bounds when installing update STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019 setup.exe

Hi

I am facing this problem when updating StalkerSoup

List index out of bounds
when installing update STALKERSOUP 1.1.0019 setup.exe

Installing at C:\games\STALKERSOUP
Win 11
Please advise.

EDIT: So in frustration, I simply changed the update check schedule to some random timeslot such as 11:00 and randomly pressed next and it worked.

It is a bug in updater and idk why it was never reported before. Let me know if I missed something, but as far as I see, the problem seems to have been resolved now.

Installing this 32-bit game on your C drive is not advised, due to the way that 64-bit Windows manages its files

Better to either use a different drive, or partition your C drive and install in the new partition
I.e D:\games\STALKERSOUP

I think that this error was reported only once and very long ago.

I believe that it has to be something with the chosen computer resolution
- because the CuiListBox function has not been initialized correctly for that installer page.

Going back and forth may reset(fix) this kind of the error ...
