Help with Akim

I’ve got to a quest where Akim tells you to find a part of every common mutant, i do not have the patience to go back to Rostok without any armour since i just did his last quest before the SKAT15. My question is what is the reward for completing it and in the spawn menu INFO section what is the code to completing the quest, for example the code for Mole’s PDA in Agroprom is agr_PDA_done, so what is the code for this quest, thank you for reading Stalker.

Hi Swilc. Unfortunately there is no indication on-screen of a reward being given when you hand in the mutant parts, and I haven't noticed any additions to my inventory or diary, so I don't know what the reward is - or even if there is one.

This is a stand-alone side-task, so there is no hurry, you can complete it at any time. You could always come back later after you have been back to your stash after doing other things.

If you want to cheat bypass the journey back, you could use the ESC+S menu to spawn in the necessary parts (Items tab, Mutant Parts section - remember that you only need the 'common' ones). When you have all of the parts that are required, you will get a message to return to Akim when you exit the menu.

Akim doesn't give you the option to abandon his task, but if you just want to remove it from your active tasks list use info portion doc_tvar_done to complete it - but you won't get the reward (if there is one!).

In addition to pchester's advice, I believe that the 'mutant body parts' request for Akim is a throwaway task purely to see if he can trust you, as a newbie, to carry out a specific job - one which by nature and design is not only onerous, arduous, and odious, but also a test of patience, resilience, and perseverance

If he can, then he'll have some far more important work for you, which will gain you at least two of the most valuable rewards in the game at this stage, and help you advance deeper into the Zone...
