| Hi, Despite or perhaps because of? When I play, at times but not all the time and only in Stalkersoup I get an effect like a transparent brick wall especially in the lower left of the screen. This is on DX9. DX11 and the next one whose name escapes me, comes up with bugtrap. My PC's graphics card is an RTX and I worry if this may be the cause for a 32bit program may not be set up for it. If it a setting of the Options Video Sliders I have everything to the right except grass to the left and blur, and lighting to the left. I am too far into the game which is working okay otherwise to start again. It also occurs on default video settings, and in basics, high, medium, low etc. I am using 1.10019.1 and the TB3D Modders.Script is 1.10019.2. Any suggestions I will willingly try. Thanks and Regards TrueB

Thanks and Regards TrueB Hi TrueB I use an RTX 2060 without any major issues *, so I'd suggest the following Try moving your sliders to the left, one by one or several at a time, and see if your situation changes. Sometimes moving to the left actually improves quality, depending on your setup! If any part of your PC is overclocked, then reign back the clock speeds and see which ones improve the situation for Stalkersoup Ensure you have the latest NVidia driver. The most recent was 496.49 NOTE: Don't do all the above in one go. Try them one at a time, have patience, make notes of what was changed, and find out which combination of changes give the best results for your setup Finally, if the game doesn't display well in basic DX9, assume that it won't get any better in DX11 or DX11 Extended until you've fixed the basic problem... * Occasionally, if I brush against a wall, I can see through the wall. But other than this I don't have problems playing in DX11 Extended

Further to my thanks for your ideas, I assumed it was the graphics card, but a message from Intel for a firmware upgrade was duly downloaded and installed allowing the top settings in Options Video without the need to move any Sliders in accord with trying one thing at a time. It shows that before thinking it might be the game, of updating the PC's systems first. Thanks.
