Subject: Jump to map command? Sun 10 Oct 2021 - 17:30
Hi all, I wonder if there is a commando to quickly jump to a certain map?
I want to quickly go to a map to explore for fun but outside nornal gameplay just to get the feeling is there any way to do it?
Thanks in advance

Hi Fofyhead
Yes, there is, but it needs to be used with caution
Esc + F2 will bring up a 'teleport' list to every map in the game, and it's used by testers. However, if you teleport to any map before you've been there 'naturally' it will seriously m*ss up your game...
I was going to use another four-lettered word there, because of how totally and irrevocably it will **** up your game, but I think you get my drift...

Hi Fofyhead, Sword is quite right. When the 39 areas where on the map, some years ago, I put all my saves in a folder not attached to the Stalkersoup folder, then started the game as a Rookie but used the command to jump to each map just to look and wander about. When done, I removed all the saves from the trip so there were none and then replaced the saves I had from prior to my excursion. During the excursion my MO was set to invincible. The map's have increased since then and certainly enhanced. But in hindsight, I wouldn't recommend it, because it takes away the fun of exploring as the game unfolds. Happy hunting Regards TrueB

Yes I did just a quick travel to a couple of locations and it was like wow! I'm impressed! There is a lot I cannot even try to understand. I didn't touch anything, I was a traveler trying to just observe without triggering anything more like remote viewing. Now I deleted all those traveling saves and I'm ready to continue my normal journey hoping to get at those locations to understand what is going on out there. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for sharing your list. It will be very handy for when having to move over several destinations, rather than jumping and missing content. Regards TrueB
