It crashes everytime i came up with a fight that involves many npcs. for example, general voronin task to defend the bar against mercs, bandits base at ATP. It crashed every time, even if i set graphics to the minimun. the hardware is i5-8300, rtx2060, 16gb memorie. you guys seems dont came up with these bugs. so,what can i do?

Hi 1527425587
if it helps, my PC is seven years old, has a similar spec PC to yours, and has similar issues. Although in my case the game's frame rates drop to below single figures
This is not due to the graphics card, as Doom Eternal plays fine. It's because 32-bit StalkerSoup is very CPU-intensive, so it'll help if, before starting the game, you shut down everything that doesn't need to run in the background to give the CPU a better chance of coping under the strain
Some players even disconnect their internet connection, allowing their antivirus to be closed down too...

In addition to Sword's suggestions, I would advise installing the game on an SSD if you haven't already done so. When I ran StalkerSoup from a Hard Drive there were noticeable stutters and occasional crashes when a lot was going on in the game. I moved the game to an SSD and these problems disappeared.

Agree with install on SSD, lot less issues, don't install on M2 SSD as more problems arise, we'll have to wait for TB's 64bit multithread engine

Hi VodkaMartiniSNS, There are various ways to lower the chances of crashes: make sure grass is reduced to minimum, use 9 setting instead of 11, but eg with the Hump merc melee, don't rush to fight.
Spoiler:
This allows the game to load in the various NPCs. Do a hard save before going into action. Then you don't have to go back as far as Voronin. The Hump tends to be behind the truck at the back so using the gun Voronin asks you to get first, try using the grenade Launcher on it; if you get to the just past the gate try lobbing them with the gun across the walls or throw eg F1s to kill him without bothering with the main fight - grenades can be bounced off the wall by the truck, too; you can also kill a lot of enemy with hand-grenades. Though there are a lot of goods that can be collected off the bodies, it is best just to search Hump's and get back to Voronin or simply go through the transition to Wild Territory- for even if it crashes here, when you reload you will be in Wild Territory but that is best after you have killed Hump, as bodies often disappear on returning to the Bar Territory. Another aspect of gaming can be synchronisation between graphics card and monitor. In my opinion, the best option is to get Nvidia G-sync monitor/graphics cards combinations, because in my play, it cut out stutter and crashes wonderfully. There are other synchronisation choices which may be worth researching.
With regard to switching off background programs, Asus' Tweak II works well in my experience. Regards, TrueB.

Open your inventory and double-click on the capsule. This will equip it in your 'pistol' slot. Close your inventory, face where you want to create the anomaly, and hold down your left mouse button (or whatever button you use to fire a weapon). After a short animation showing you turning the capsule around, you will "throw" it a short distance in front of you. After a few seconds the Snow anomaly will form.

Oh Really?!?! That's unfortunate, as on my new system, *all* of my storage drives are M.2 SSDs ... I'll have to just see how things run...

I have StalkerSoup installed on an M.2 and I haven't had any problems (touch wood!).
