After a long journey through the zone of StalkerSoup, Strelok has finally found he can go no further, for now.
I want to thank the team involved with this gigantic modification. I want to thank them for providing myself with a stable modification of this magnitude and even more so for the amount of help provided on the forums and in very well presented guides.
I also want to apologize for any previous blunt minded threads/posts for help I have made. I'm sure I am guilty of at least missing the forest through the trees at least once. I'm sure I also should have been able to get through where I was stuck at with just a little more effort on my behalf.
Thank you for bearing with me during those threads/posts.
PS: Thank you Alex for checking over my bugged save and sending me a fixed one back. I thought it may have been over for me there.
Some of my most prominent memories of going through this mod would be trying to
Spoiler:
find the controller corpse, getting lost in the tunnels, hurling those ridiculous late game grenades and most of all.. that hilarious death metal track that played when you entered the Jupiter Underground. It was actually disturbingly fitting in a way.
Could anyone inform me as to the identity of this track and it's artist? I think I would have a good laugh listening to this band.
I like to think that I have completed quite a few Shadow of Chernobyl modifications by now (approximately 12). Though, this mod certainly would be the most massive I have touched and delivers well at being a story driven modification.
Which does in part lead me to ask this question, if it is not inappropriate. How does one or where does one learn to modify Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl? I have contemplated over this in the past and determined I would have no idea how to go about it and where you would even start, but in part due to finishing this mod, I feel a little motivated to try again. When searching for any means as how to begin such a pursuit, I found information either scarce or potentially out-dated. If it is in good taste, I wouldn't mind being pointed in the right direction.
Thank you all once again for your time, effort, assistance and patience.
To anyone else out there still venturing through StalkerSoup, good hunting, stalker!
Thank you for your kind comments, Alphabet Soup, and well done for getting through to the end!
As you can see, there's much more to come, and the forthcoming patch will improve on everything you've seen, read, and experienced in the game so far, especially in Levels 1 and upwards

Hi Sword, So the game has finally reached an end? Great news. I wonder if there is now a guide to Levelup 3? It makes it worth playing again, regards, TrueB

As I understand it, TB has more planned for Level 3, which should bring it to a close and prepare the game for future episodes, including DLC
Next, the levels are no longer separate and independent. The dialogues and descriptions now ensure that each new level follows on naturally on from the previous one - making a larger, more integrated, and more immersive storyline across the entire game. We hope to include the DLCs in this too
Personally, I'm looking forward to a new game with the next patch, because it'll feel different and fresher, and has laid the foundation for much more ongoing improvement in future, allowing it to evolve naturally
And if pchester carries on with his sterling work, there'll be a new walkthrough for the new patch, to the end of Level 3
Finally, I'd like to thank pchester for the amazing work he's done on the updated descriptions of all 53 areas in the game. To my knowledge, this has never been done to such an extent in a STALKER mod before...
I will certainly be revising the walkthrough to cover the updated game content. However, TecnoBacon has warned us that a new game start will be required, so it may take me a while to play all the way through to the new ending. I am looking forward to finding out how everything finally comes together...

Thanks to you pchester, that you bring Your excellent Guide up to date for each upgrade. (This makes the otherwise now well-constructed game with vastly easier comprehension thanks to Sword and other members of the language group having translated garbled text into plain English and other languages; the construction team led by TecnoBacon and Alex, and all the other wonderful contributors into now a much improved experience). But because the main game is linear of necessity, without your Guides would make it more stressful; now a first read-through through your Guide before players set forth, saves players from backtracking through saves to find a missed item or task. In my opinion following your Guide, is a recipe for success. Bravo one and all.

Hi Alphabet Soup, If you look up "Floki"'s Channel on YouTube, he is doing a super series on Stalker Mods. He has also uploaded about 100 or more, if I recall correctly, episodes of Stalkersoup, regards TrueB
