STALKER Heightmaps...maps?

Yes, me again, asking for maps, hehe ...

I will try to be brief: is it possible to get heightmaps of the different maps in the game?

You know, these, where white is the highest, and black is the lowest.
That later some programs and editors convert it into a 3D map.




I happen to be playing Cities Skylines these days and experimenting with mods and assets.

I had made a map of my other passion, Macross, but since I had problems with the very huge 3D models of the ships, I gave up.

And investigating more mods and assets for the game, I found that you can make a map with Soviet buildings, flora of a specific area, reduce the population, and even change the skins of citizens ...
All of which leads me to try to recreate the Zone.

The problem is that the only thing I got from Chernobyl is the actual reallife heightmap, which is quite flat, and I was looking for something that had the typical hills and plains of the game.

height maps are tied to textures and create 3D surfaces, they are not what makes hills and plains/water. These are made in the mesh construction.
