How exactly does this work/how do you go about using this? I select it and it just moves into the description window. I cannot seem to change any of the items on it either. Doe it just allow quicker ingame heals and reloads etc, as its all more accessible? Any decent FAQ's that answer these questions better, I'm gonna end up with alot more.....fantastic mod, shame it took me so long to finally try it Smile

It's currently not enabled, but if enabled IIRC it requires you to "load" the vest up with the ammunition you want to use.  I'm not sure how much can be loaded, but as a hypothetical example:

You have 500 shotshells in your backpack.  Until you load some of them into the vest, there will be no ammunition available for a deployed shotgun.  Load 100 shotshells, your shotgun has 100 rounds available before "running out," even though you still have 400 in your backpack.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, in the real world a loadout is as much ammunition as you are deigned to be able to carry and is readily available.  Having ammo in a backpack would be for a hump mission (to load up a forward base, for instance), not a tactical mission.

But then, again, in the real world even Chuck Norris can't carry as much weight as can the Marked One, so perhaps it's a good feature - have as much ammo available for tactical use as in the real world but still have available extra ammo for a hump mission (like deep into the NPP where 5.45x39 is somewhat rare and that's what you use).

Ahh right, thanks for the info. Sounds like quite a immersive idea to me, would have to 'take stock' of what you are rolling with after firefights etc. Or maybe when reloading, when using ammo not stored on the vest would take longer to reload eg, having to 'rummage through your backpack' to find it etc. But as you say, when you can pretty much roll around with a full armoury on you....ammo limits kinda become null and void.
