Hello everyone, i thought id stop in and take a look see.
I have read through the .18 thread but i am none the wiser tbh.

Hi AZmoDen

The long-awaited patch 1.10019 was released at the end of July, which covered the following issues

COMMON:
Fixed shaders so that DX11 and SMAP configurations are global
Corrected Day/Night fail on load
Corrected weapon hide function
Changed weight limit on 'Hard' game mode from 100kg to 60kg
Vast amount of improvements to written dialogs and descriptions, including a guide to all the PDA functions
Launch Options now has a new Game Type - 'Gatherer' - an increased weight mod (up to 1,800kg!)

STALKER:
Fixed the marsh snipers loadout
Redesigned the first passage over the bridge in the Dead City

COLLECTOR:
Expanded on the GRV messages
More content in Storm and Reclamation
Fixed Sid's SMS about the ATP stash

Although we know it's a WIP, there's no news of 64-bit yet... Sad

Hi aZmoDen,
Lots of nice changes to this ever evolving game, it would be great to buy you a drink from one MO to another MO, some Cossacks vodka at 100 Rads in Rostock, plus scrambled crows eggs and boar steak. That will set you up for some hunting in the zone.
Regards, TrueB.

just a note: The renderers are compiled in 64bit already. The xr_game and xr_3da are still 32bit but the renderes are setup to take 32bit data from them but the main reason to get the exe to 64bit is to expand the obj and economy strings arrays to 1meg vice 64k. This will stop most of the remaining memory crashes but there are still a few caused by object conflicts and faulty configs which I am focusing on along with completion of the final two levelups.

Wonderful news TB, though I don't understand some of the terms, it seems you are making super progress. Presumably one huge bonus of getting the game to 64 bit is being able to use RAM in excess of 4gb? I suppose changing all the mods that makeup Ssoup will also take time. Your recovery is the best news. Do please take good care of yourself. Best wishes, TrueB.

That sounds awesome TB, many many stack overflows / OOM crashes will disapere.

Looking forward to what SS can bring with a 64b engine
